Akbuk is a stunning part of Turkey and as yet is a ‘best kept secret’. Akbuk means ‘White Bay’ in Turkish which ties in with the fact that it the town is situated at the foot of a long bay containing lots of small white sandy beaches and little bays. The town itself is extremely pretty and picturesque and is surrounded by beautiful olive groves and pine trees. You will never be stuck for something to do in Akbuk as there are a wide range of attractions to suit all tastes.
